Our Story

"My wife and I are avid rock and mineral collectors and my wife is a graphic artist. Several years ago we started taking exceptional and interesting specimens from our rock collection, photographing them and my wife has enhanced and upscaled the picture and put them in a background that makes them wall art, suitable for hanging in a home or office. Our rock collector friends loved them and requested my wife do the same for them. We have been doing this for several years now with every year getting more requests.

 We’re now ready to share this process with other rock, gem, fossil, and mineral collectors— inviting you to upload a photo of a piece from your collection and we'll create an image of your most prized pieces that lets others appreciate your passion beyond the display case."

Clip the specimen from the original photo; sharpen, upscale and enhance the resolution of your photo for excellent clarity and definition when enlarged. We create a gradient background similar to professional photos using colors that complement or contrast the natural vibrant colors of your rock or mineral. We’ll create shadows and reflections for a realistic and natural look and display. We’ll add specimen information you provided such as the collections owner, type of stone, size, date collected, and location collected. Every print is unique and customized to the individual specimen.
